20x13cm, title page + 31 pages of text written on one side of the paper only. The pages a little browned and creased, but clearly legible throughout. The bookplate of Rickard (?) Herrmann inside the front cover. Hardback binding covered in green cloth, the title in gilt on the front cover, the binding somewhat rubbed and marked.

Wolfgang Herrmann, born in 1899 in Berlin, studied art history and philosophy at the University of Freiburg, fled Germany in 1933 to London and later published a number of works on architecture, is almost certainly the author of this work.
