1st. Edition. 2 volumes, 8vo. Xii+307 pages and iv+330 pages, respectively, portrait frontispiece in vol. 1. Generally a clean copy, slight chipping and browning to the edge of the title page and first couple of leaves and a slight roughness to the edges of some pages from when they were separated. A worn patch at the edge of the front pastedown in the first volume. Volume 1 is not square, but a little twisted.
In the publisher’s brown cloth binding, generally good condition, but the covers of volume one with a ‘spotty’ loss of colour and volume 2 with a few light dots at the bottom of the spine.
