8vo. (20x12cm), title page + 476 + (2) pages. Some browning, particularly to the first 98 pages and a few other marks. The type sometimes tending to show through the paper in places, but always a readable copy. A small hole in a blank leaf before the title page.

Bound in full leather of about the same date as the book. The flat-back binding rather dry and tight. The leather split on the front hinge but the board firmly attached. The binding solid, but rubbed and worn, with some white marking on the covers, of the kind produced by using the wrong leather-dressing. Gilt decoration of the spine, rubbed, lacking the label.
