Some spots of browning (including on the title page), not effecting legibility, one group of pages slightly out of line when the book is closed, but the binding solid. In the publisher's brown cloth binding, somewhat rubbed, with slight loss at the top of the spine, including a piece of cloth about 1cm long on the front hinge.
A curious faded heraldic bookplate inside the front cover, which has left a ghostly impression on the blank leaf before the title page, this blank leaf rather heavily browned.
